beginning to explore hairstyles and warpaint/face paint. Someone in class mentioned face paint so I put together some variations. Feedback via email or in comments.
For the Hair Study, I think that 15 is the strongest. That type of hair makes the most sense and is the perfect length, unlike 14 which feels too long and more feminine, and 7 which is too short, making the character look even younger.
For the Face Paint Study, I think 20 is the strongest. I feel its mechanical nature is a good contrast to some of the other designs that feel hand painted. 2, 4, and 19 could also be effective if pushed. We should move ahead with those 4 because they are subtle enough to not interfere with the character's expression. We would obviously want the player to read his face, not what is on it--so we should steer away from something like 7 where there is heavy paint.
