David

Couple of quick sketches from last night. I think the proportions on the 'back view' drawing are more what you're looking for.

Hey Adam, I like the top one just fine. The proportions look nice.

We can move ahead with that design. So what we need is a character sheet (turnaround) so we can start modeling him.

When you make that up, I would suggest pulling the fur of his arms down so that his elbow is not covered. You can wrap his elbow up in some red wrappings or something, but there will probably be some funky stretching if the elbow joint is inside that poofy fur.

I think we should make his eyes beadier as well. Make them more rounded. Not necessarily going for realism in that area.

I would also more clearly define how he takes his jacket off. In Node 2 there is a scene in which he will remove part of it (the big poofy part on the back) and proceed on with less attire on his upper half. Just like a line that separates the clothing or where it's suppose to open.

Later I'll try to post an example of what I mean by that.

The Jacket with the hood is actually just a fur that drapes over his shoulders. If you look closely, you'll see that the bear's paws are hanging over the front of his chest, wehre the back of the bear's fur are creating the hood. I'll do another drawing showing how that works, as well as an update on this one with all the final modifications. I'll have a turnaround done by tomorrow.
